Reports to: All managers and trainers

Job summary:
Responsible to prompt delivery of food to guest as the order is completed and ready for the service in the kitchen.

Essential Functions: Must be willing to:
Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of food presentation according to standing operating procedure
Perform more than one task at a time
Perform calmly and effectively under pressure
Communicate with guest clearly, patiently, courteously and with good humor
Communicate effectively with co-workers
Promptly carry food from kitchen to any table in the restaurant for an entire shift
Complete all side work when and as assigned
Comprehend and acquire appropriate items (garnishes, accompaniments, sauces and utensils) to complete a particular order or delivery
Refrain from smoking for the duration of the shift

Accountabilities: Must be willing to:
Acquire and wear appropriate uniform as prescribed in the training manual
Maintain and clean uniform
Be an active team player
Follow supervisor's instructions
Maintain a well manicured appearance and persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant
Perform under more than the average stressful conditions
Read and be accountable for the information in the Sunda Employee handbook

Qualification Standards:
Must provide a minimum of 1-year restaurant experience or equivalent training. After training, must be able to pass an exam in English with 90% or better in each of the following:
Menu and specials
Layout of restaurant including table numbers and station numbers
Individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies

Must be willing and able to:
Master English language sufficient to communicate effectively
Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
Be courteous, pleasant and good natured
Respond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy
Accept constructive criticism
Get along with co-workers
Provide a clean, well manicured persona that reflects the establishment image of the restaurant
Stand and work for an entire shift
Safely transport food from kitchen to guest table over slick, uneven surface
Transport food to service party of 4 in a single trip
Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
Transport food items from source to any guest table continually throughout a shift
Work holiday, weekends and nights

Rules:
May not take or give away any unauthorized company property including food or beverage
May not work under the influence of alcohol or other mood altering substances
May not keep any unauthorized items in personal locker
May not resort to any physical violence or harassing behavior
May not eat or drink certain unauthorized items during a shirt
